Mr. P. Thangaswamy, M.A., M.Phil, M.Ed.,

   Originally called “VANI ENGLISH SCHOOL”, now named as “VANI MARIC HIGH SCHOOL” was started in the year 1998-99 by Mr. P. Thangaswamy, M.A., M.Phil, M.Ed., and Mrs.Leela Thangaswamy, B.Sc.,M.A, M.Ed., both are teachers by profession. They are philanthropically minded and are spending their own money, so that the children of the neighborhood may get good education. No donations are taken. Fees charged are nominal compared to other schools. Sufficient rooms, furniture and play ground are available. Both manager and correspondent Mr.Thangaswamy and his wife devote much time and show keen interest in running the school.

   The present strength of the school is nearly 600, and there are 18 teachers are well qualified and highly experienced and they render sincere, selfless service. Many extra curricular and sport activities are taken in the school.

   Economically backward children and deserving students are given encouragement by way of concession in fees etc., Individual attention is given to ever student in their progress in studies and in building up the character of the young children.

   The VANI MATRIC HIGH SCHOOL is now recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu. Therefore we will upgrade the school to full fledged Matriculation school.

   Parents are very co-operative. ‘Parents Teachers Association’ meetings are held frequently. Highly qualified and eminent people in the field of education and other walks of life are members of our advisory committee and guide us in our mission. The discipline of student is exemplary.
